Team W.I.S.H. (Walking In Spirit and Hope) Arizona will be participating for the fifth time in the 2008 AZ 3-Day 60-Mile Breast Cancer Walk Nov. 14-16, 2008.  Since its inception in 2004, Team W.I.S.H. Arizona has raised over $750,000 for the 3-Day benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure and The National Philanthropic Trust.

Enjoy a giant beer garden with buxom beer maidens serving Bavarian brews, Bavarian bands playing lively tunes and leading sing- alongs of old time drinking songs, mouth watering sausages and strudel, Bavarian dancing and lots of more good old-fashioned fun at this authentic old-world family event!

Our “festhallen” is for the young and the “young at heart”, whether you hail from Germany or central Phoenix. Sample traditional German foods and drinks, enjoy the music, and participate in our fun contests such as the polka competition. See how long you can hold up a full beer stein. Test your skill at blowing an alphorn (like the ones you see in the Ricola TV ads!) Enter our costume contest and check out the sauerkraut-cooking contest. It’s wunderbar!
