2008 Arizona Restaurant Week September 20, 2008 - September 26, 2008 Admission:  $29 per person or $58 per couple An estimated 100 restaurants will participate, showcasing some of the area’s most celebrated chefs. Guests of the event will be able to partake in Arizona’s finest fare at a special rate. Each restaurant will offer a three-course menu of signature dishes for $29 per person or $58 per couple, excluding beverages, tax and gratuity. To date, participating restaurants include The Green House, Flemings at DC Ranch, Zinc Bistro, Lucille’s, Don and Charlie’s Steakhouse Restaurant, Sol y Sombra, Bloom, NoRTH, Ruth’s Chris on Scottsdale Road, and Olive & Ivy. SalsaFest 2008 September 26, 2008 - September 27, 2008 Friday at 5pm, Saturday at 9am Location:  Safford, AZ Phone:  (928) 428-2511 Admission:  Free! Join in the fun on the Safford Town Square to share in the festivities of the Second Annual SalsaFest. This year’s festivities will include a salsa-making competition, a marketplace, Salsa Walk benefiting the Gila Valley Boys and Girls Club, salsa music, dance performance, food demonstrations, chili roasting, a kids' corner with a piñata bust, and jalapeño & salsa eating contests.
